Diamond Brite appears to be "sky blue" in color due to the sunlight rays projecting through the water. (trivia) But why is a pool still blue at night? Calm water will indeed reflect a blue sky, but the same water will remain blue even under an overcast sky or indoors. The always-blue tint in water is not a reflection but a quality of light interacting with the molecules in the water itself. Highly recommended is Diamond Brite, an outstanding pool finish that offers durability, is comfortable and easy to maintain, and is pleasing to the eye. Diamond Brite combines natural quartz, aggregates, polymer-modified cement, and non-fading Diamond Quartz in a stunning variety of colors.
